Assignment #6 One of My Favorite Songs : Clarity

I really love this song because how lyrics of the song best describes the situation really suits one of my personal experiences when I was senior high school. The interesting part is how does a beat song can have such a deep sad lyrics. Enjoy the song while singing along and reading the lyrics!

High dive into frozen waves where the past comes back to lifeFight fear for the selfish pain, it was worth it every timeHold still right before we crash 'cause we both know how this endsA clock ticks 'til it breaks your glass and I drown in you again
'Cause you are the piece of me I wish I didn't needChasing relentlessly, still fight and I don't know why
If our love is tragedy, why are you my remedy? If our love's insanity, why are you my clarity?
(Hey-ay, hey-ay-ay. Hey-ay, hey-ay-ay. Hey-ay, hey-ay-ay. Hey-ay, hey)
If our love is tragedy, why are you my remedy? If our love's insanity, why are you my clarity?
Walk on through a red parade and refuse to make amendsIt cuts deep through our ground and makes us forget all common senseDon't speak as I try to leave 'cause we both know what we'll chooseIf you pull then I'll push too deep and I'll fall right back to you
'Cause you are the piece of me I wish I didn't needChasing relentlessly, still fight and I don't know why
If our love is tragedy, why are you my remedy? If our love's insanity, why are you my clarity?
(Hey-ay, hey-ay-ay. Hey-ay, hey-ay-ay. Hey-ay, hey-ay-ay. Hey-ay, hey)
Why are you my clarity? Why are you my remedy? Why are you my clarity? Why are you my remedy?
If our love is tragedy, why are you my remedy? If our love's insanity, why are you my clarity?

Assignment #5

When I was in junior high school, I learned about Google syntax. I only remember about the + operator which Google has eliminated. It is so helpful for searching exact words. Google sometimes bothers me because it searches words separately, so I need to use this operator. This + operator usage is changed by quotation marks (" ").

This week, I was taught about using *(an asterisk character) which is known as a wildcard, to match one or more words in a phrase. Each * represents just one or more words. Google treats the * as a placeholder for a word or more than one word. For example, [ “Google * my life“ ] tells Google to find pages containing [..] which word changes *. This is beneficial when I don't know or I forgot about matching words inside a sentence.

Furthermore, Google syntax, such as:
  • site: restrict results to a certain website or domain
  • related: find similar or related pages
  • filetype: find only specific files
For example, you can search about President Obama in CNN, so you can type
"President Obama" site:cnn.com
In my opinion, this Google syntax help me to find easily and exactly what I hope for.
